Exquisite beach house for sale
Located right on the beach at Kuiburi, 70 kms south of Hua Hin, 30 kms north of Prachuabkhirikhan town, this exquisite property - perfect for entertaining guests and for very private holidays - has been developed by a Thai/American couple who have demonstrated great vision and high quality, and more than just a touch of class.
To start with, the construction and infrastructure is far superior to most houses for sale in Thailand. Built with 8'' insulation blockwork, partly clad in real Thai hardwood rather than composite weatherboarding, given large-pane double-glazed windows, hard redwood flooring (macaa) and a simply beautiful asphalt shingle roof, the five buildings - main house, guesthouse, car garage cum 2nd guesthouse, the 'sala' and the maid's house - have all been designed, built and finshed by teams of experts from Bangkok.
With 3-phase electric power, municipal and well-water supplies running through a highly efficient filtration system, a very well engineered waste water disposal system, telephone/ADSL connected and ducted air-conditioning, all important infrastructure is present.0D
The main house is simply stunning. Walking inside and you have to stop, catch your breath and take it all in. The splendour of the design and finishings is just delightful. To the right is the state-of-the-art kitchen with its imported (American) appliances and to the left is the living room/lounge with its big French doors leading out to the garden overlooking the sea. Straight ahead is the master bedroom with its walk-in/thru dressing room in teak wood panelling and fitted wardrobes. Upstairs is one room, 5m by 5m, whose windows offer a teriffic view of the beach. This could be a study, an office or a bedroom.
The guest house, with one large bedroom/lounge and ensuite bathroom, is every bit as nice, again fully insulated, air-conditioned and finished in lovely woodwork. Even the garage has a tiled floor and ensuite bathroom such that it could double as another guest house.
In the beachside garden is a 'sala' with its own kitchen, dining area and ensuite providing an operations-center for life by the pool. The pool is 14 meters long, has the 'infinity' overflow system such that the pool seems one wih the sea, and - get this - has a 400,000 btu heating system!
Beyond the pool is the beach of Bo Nok - seemingly endless stretches of soft white sand, almost devoid of people.
It takes three hours to drive to this property from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The Bo Nok neighbourhood has a peacefull seaside village atmosphere, and local restaurants serve excellent food, catering also for parties at short notice. The property has a local maintenance staff.
